

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife, Katie, to whom he was married to for 62 years; loving children, Dr. Dennis T. Rafaill (Jocelyn), Dr. Nicholas T. Rafaill (Lia), and Cynthia Rafaill Czech (Robert); and loving grandchildren, Nicholas D. Rafaill, Lucas G. Rafaill, Andrew D. Rafaill, Dr. Thomas N. Rafaill, Christina L. Rafaill, Alyssa C. Czech, Joseph T. Czech, and Anna R. Czech.
Thomas graduated from The University of Detroit and then went on to earn his DDS from The University of Detroit Dental School. He then furthered his Orthodontic specialty at The University of New York Buffalo, where he obtained his Master’s Degree. Thomas had his own Orthodontic Practice in Roseville, MI for 45 years. Thomas also served in the Air Force for two years.
Thomas was a devoted family man and enjoyed going on vacations with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed going on daily walks with his wife, Katie. Thomas also served as a council member and treasurer of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
A Funeral Service will be held for Thomas on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11AM, with visitation from 10 to 11AM, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (21800 Marter Rd. St Clair Shores, MI 48080)
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
