Vera B. Edwards

Vera Betty Edwards, age 90 of Warren, passed away July 29, 2015. She was born on February 5, 1925; the daughter of Constantine and Sara Kram. Vera was the beloved wife of the late James "Art" for 53 years, a loving caregiver of her rescue dog, Harmony and a dear friend to many. Vera had a kind and caring spirit. She worked as an Industrial Nurse at Chrysler for many years as well as a Hospice Nurse at Cranbrook. She was a member of Sterling Heights Methodist Church since 1989 and a longtime member of the Moravian Questers. In their early years, she and Art loved to travel, but even after Art's passing in 2005, she still remained active and independent. Instate Friday, July 31, 2015 from 11:30am until time of service 12:30pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Interment to immediately follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Vera requested no flowers, please. Instead, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
