Loving grandfather of Julie, David and Andrew. Visitation Monday and Tuesday 2-9 pm with Rosary Tuesday 7:00 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. In state Wednesday 11:30 am until time of funeral Mass 12 noon at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mr. Hill was married 65 years to his beloved Helen until her death nine years ago. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Julie, David and Andrew, He was the owner of Campus Jewelers first located on Van Dyke in Detroit and later on Kelly Road in Harper Woods. He liked to ride his bicycle all around the Grosse Pointes. A favorite pastime was going to flea markets, searching for bargains. He enjoyed Polish food. He was very handy, working on his own home and those of his daughters.
