Virginia Betzler (nee Carbone) passed away in St. Clair Shores on her 89th birthday, October 5, 2018. She was born on October 5, 1929 in Detroit to Domenico and Filomena (nee Mazzilli). Virginia graduated from Southeastern High School in 1947 and continued her studies at Sawyer Business School. She worked for 35 years as a secretary at Chrysler until her retirement in 1994. Virginia then spent 10 years stocking shelves in the early morning at Macy's, where she also enjoyed shopping. In her spare time, Virginia loved to knit and crochet. Loving mother of Robert (Holly). Dear grandmother of Amanda (Trey) Allen and Bo (Rachel). Loved great-grandmother of Ivy, Vivian, and Filomena.
