Virginia R. Hansen

Virginia Ruth Hansen , Virginia passed away peacefully at Pomeroy assisted living on 6/12 /2022. Virinia was born on June 23, 1931 to Frank and Emma Rebant. Virginia attended schools in the Detroit area and married Jack Hansen on October 25, 1951. Virginia worked for A & P and Farmer Jack Grocery Stores for over 30 + years before she retired. She was active in Many Service Clubs and 38 years with the Women’s Shrine. As a member of the order of the Eastern Star which included “ Annie Oakley”.

She was treasurer for the Ladies Oriental Shrine for over 30 years. She was a member with the Daughters of the Nile-Detroit Chapter. Virginia was predeceased by her parents , Husband Jack and Daughter Victoria. She is survived by her children Pamela Maige (Robert), Robert(Shellie) , Barbara Russell and Jack. 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and by sisters Alice Iaconelli, Joan Wolfe, and brother Thomas Rebant.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2-8 pm at A.H Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods. Burial will be Wednesday 10 am with Chapel Service at White Chapel Cemetery , Troy.
