Viginia Marie Lacommare-Coates, age 91, passed away on May 6, 2021. Cherished mother to Cindy Coates, Joe Coates, Steve Coates, and Frank (Ellen Kohut) Coates. Adored grandmother to Jason Nowacki, Christopher Coates, James “Jimmy” Coates, Erica Coates, Stephen Coates, Nicholas “Nick” Coates, Christina “Tina” Coates, and Sheldon Coates. Visitation for Virginia will be on Monday May 10th from 1 PM until 8 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A funeral Mass will be on Tuesday May 11th at 10 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 467 Fairford Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. Virginia will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Roseville, MI.
