William Peter Young

William Peter Young died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the age of 71. William was born on August 29, 1938 in Detroit, MI to William D. and Emma (NEE Palo) Young. On September 10, 1960 William married Beverly Krueger at the Redemption Lutheran Church in Detroit. Wiliam worked for Creative Universal for 35 years and Vice President of the the company for 15 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed wood working and bird watching. But most of all, William loved Bootjack and his family and friends. William is the beloved husband of the late Beverly (NEE Krueger); loving father of William A., Brian (Joan), Denise (Paul) Charen, and Dorene (Tom) Wood; proud grandfather of 7; and dear brother of the late Nancy Young. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lapeer County Senior Program Respite, 1800 Imlay City Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446.
