

Willie Boyd Davis Jr. was born May 23, 1971, in Detroit to the Union of Willie Davis Sr. and Mrytis (Yvonne) Davis. He was the baby of five children. He received his education at Martin Luther King High school and continued his life education by joining the Air Force and honorably served from August 6, 1991, to July 15, 1993, in support of (Operation Desert Shield/Storm), and then later in life achieving his Associates degree from Henry Ford Community College. Also known as “Will” had a great passion for music, art, food, football, tomfoolery, and family. He was a talented artist, poet, and handyman. Always doing what he can to be ahead of the curve. Willie was a Skilled Tradesman (Machine Repair) at Ford Livonia Transmission Plant. He was a deep thinker and always read into philosophies. He enjoyed teaching as much as he did learning and was always looking to help. Willie made sure he was going to get a smile and a hug out of you. He will always be a loving Husband, Father, Sibling, Friend, and mentor and will forever be missed. Willie made his transition on Monday, December 23, 2024.
Willie is survived by his wife, Michele Davis; His three children Deshondre, Jordan, and Kennedi Davis; One sister, Carlotta Davis; Three brothers, Darwynn Davis, Saleem Naazir Hakim, Saleem Ameer Hakim; Seven nephews and nieces, Khalil Jordan, Kelsey Davis, Jazzmine Davis, Joshua Davis, Jonathon Davis, Jajuan Burton, and Jayden Davis along with a host of family and friends.
