Winifred Katherine Tanney passed away on November 26 at the age of 101. She was born on May 31, 1912 in Detroit; daughter of Russell and Mabel (nee Lambert) Finn. Katherine was an avid sailor and traveler as a long time member of the Detroit Yacht Club. She was predeceased by her husband Lewvane Hall Tanney. She was the dearest sister of the late Russell (Rita) and the late Thomas Finn. Godmother of Robert Lambert (Gerri). Survived by many caring cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday December 9th at 11:30 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 467 Fairford, Grosse Pointe Woods. Her family will receive guests at 11:00 am.
