Albert J. Anderson, age 95, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on February 8th, 2026. He was born on May 5th, 1930, in Lucas, Iowa, to the late Verna and Paul Anderson. Albert became self-supporting at the age of 16 following the death of his father.
Albert enlisted in the US Navy on January 2nd, 1951, and later transitioned to the US Air Force in July of 1958. He retired proudly after serving his country for 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, June; his daughters, Marilou and Debra; and his sisters, Ruth and Marilyn. Albert is survived by his daughter, Lois (Kevin) Christopher; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Albert met his wife in 1952 while stationed in Naples, Italy. She was a tourist from New York City, a city with a population of around 10 million, whereas Albert was from a small town in Iowa with a population of less than 500.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
