Andrea L. Ichrist

Andrea L. Ichrist, age 69 of Columbus passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. Andrea was born in Toledo to the late Robert and Verna (Schmidt) Gray. She graduated Summa Cum Lade from the University of Toledo with a degree in Anthropology. She was a member of the National Audubon Society. She loved all types of animals, especially birds and bird watching. Andrea enjoyed camping, traveling, and her dogs. She had a stoic, determined personality and provided insightful counsel to those who knew her. She was a strict mother and instilled strong family values in her children. In addition to her parents, Andrea is preceded in death by her husband Raymond John Ichrist. She is survived by her children Peggy (Francis) Keohane, James Ichrist, Mark (Mindy) Ichrist, Sarah Ichrist, Heather (Mohamed) Dioubate, Wanda Brooks, Evan Ichrist, Victoria Ichrist, and Sonja Ichrist; 14 grandchildren; brother Robert Gray, Jr.; and best friends Diana, Julie, and Bernie. Andrea’s family will receive friends 10-11 AM Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave) where a time of sharing will follow at 11 AM.
