

Brett attended Central Crossing High School, where he played football. He graduated in 2006.
For 15 years, Brett worked as a permit specialist for Custom Permits, helping secure permits for oversized loads. He genuinely loved his job, and it showed in the pride he took in doing it well.
If you knew Brett, you knew the laughter usually arrived right along with him. He loved a good joke, loved making other people laugh, and sometimes would call just to deliver a good punchline.
He also knew how to have fun and how to bring others into it. Brett loved heavy metal music and watching movies He enjoyed video games and playing Xbox, and he had special games he played with his girls, including Friday the 13th and Fortnite. When it came to Ohio State football, Brett was all in. An avid Buckeyes fan, he watched and cheered on every game.
Brett's greatest joy was being a dad. He is survived by his two daughters, Sailor and Skout Triplett, and their mother, Kassi Beagle. Brett is also survived by his parents, Brett "Maverick" Triplett and Diane Triplett; his aunt, Tracey Triplett; his uncles, Daniel Look and Gary Look; many cousins; extended family; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pasty and Ballard Jr. Triplett, and Mary and Carl Look; and his step grandmother, Wanda Look.
Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Concord Cemetery Association, 6244 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio. The family will receive friends back at the funeral home following the cemetery for a luncheon.
