

Caroline Rose Martin, age 85, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Grove City, Ohio. Born on June 9, 1939, Caroline was known for her caring nature, always ready to lend a helping hand. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, cherishing every moment with her loved ones.
Caroline was a proud graduate of Murray City High School. Her life was marked by her dedication to her family and her community, making lasting impacts on those around her through her kindness and generosity.
She leaves behind a loving family: her daughter, Julie (Mike) Weber, grandchildren, Cayla Weber and Jake Weber: son, John D. (J.D.) Martin (Terri Holstein); grandchildren, Rachel (Ryan) Jackson and Kenneth Taylor Martin; and great-grandchildren Raelyn, Raegan, Renley Jackson, and Arie Martin. Caroline also leaves her niece Brenda Krannitz-Berry (Mike), Sister-in-law/niece Marlene Rutter, and many other special nieces and nephews. Her special friends, Gary and Pat Gifford, will miss her deeply.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alberta Spencer; her husband, Kenneth D. Martin; her sisters, Marie Malinowski, Betty Thompson, and Margaret Krannitz; brother, Gene Spencer; brother/nephew Chuck Rutter; and her companion for many years, Ted Dixon.
Caroline’s Memory will be Cherished by all who knew her, as she continues to inspire through her legacy of love and selflessness.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Roberta from Capital City Hospice as well as to her loving caretakers, Tracy and Gina.
Caroline's family will receive friends on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, OH 43123. A funeral service is to follow, with Pastor Owen Stotts officiating. Caroline will be laid to rest at Concord Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Capital City Hospice in Caroline's memory.
