

Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Wrenn; his paternal grandparents, Charles P. “Charlie Pop” and Margaret “Ba” Wrenn; and his maternal grandparents, Rupert and Velita Mulchaey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years and partner of 34 years, Charlene Wrenn; his sons, Charles Paul Wrenn IV and Devin Michael Wrenn; his father, Charles Paul Wrenn, Jr.; sisters, Dawn Marie (Duane) Dudgeon and Krista (Marc) Van Horn; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Charlie worked with Winnscapes for 17 years, beginning in landscaping and mowing before becoming their Fertilizer Specialist. He loved being outdoors and took great pride in providing for his family. A devoted husband, father, brother, and son, Charlie enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his loved ones.
An avid sports fan, Charlie cheered passionately for The Ohio State Buckeyes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds, and he especially loved watching his oldest son play soccer. He played baseball from his youth through high school, carrying his love for the game throughout his life. He was also proud to watch his son, Devin, hone his skills as a mechanic.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123, where his funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon with Father Joe Yokum officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
