Clara Belle (Kerr) Knight, 97, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023. She was born April 24, 1926 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Charles and Nevada (Corwin) Kerr. She was a 1944 graduate of Nelsonville H.S. and retired from Mt. St. Mary Hospital after 30 years of faithful service. Clara Belle was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Nelsonville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, James; and brothers, Charles and William Kerr. Clara Belle is survived by her daughter, Christine (Glen) Tharp; granddaughters, Kate Tharp (Brendan Murphy) and Anna (Kevin) Carwile; great-grandchildren, Judah and Xyla Murphy; special friend, Ann Nixon; and many other relatives and friends.
