D. Carolyn Hunter, age 96, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. She was born January 25, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Bradley) Batteiger. Carolyn was a Central High School graduate. She enjoyed travelling and camping with her family on weekends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Kenneth Hunter and daughter, Karen Hunter. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Debra (Fred O’Linn) Hunter; son, Dennis (Sarah) Hunter; grandsons, Grant, Jarrod, and Will; and many other relatives and friends.
