David Edward Goode

He was a longtime parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church and later Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds baseball fan and proud U.S. Army veteran. David was gifted with his hands and could fix or build anything.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Paula “Pauline” and children, Henry Tejeda and Yolanda Evans; and 9 siblings.

David is survived by his children Jerry (Pat) Tejeda, Teresa Steece, and Mikel Goode; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Siemer; and many other relatives and friends.

David’s family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday at the Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137. Rev. Fr. Michael Watson, celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David’s memory to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
