Dean Wesley Adams

Dean Adams, age 62, of Grove City passed away suddenly on January 10, 2023. Dean was born February 10, 1960 in Dover Ohio to the late James W. Adams and Lucy Carol (née Arter) Petricola. Dean recently retired from Peerless Saw Company and currently worked part-time at Strader’s Greenhouse. In his younger days, he enjoyed running sound for the band, American Grease. Every year, he looked forward to celebrating Christmas and making the holidays a special time for his family. He loved fishing, camping, tending to his garden and he really enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone. Most importantly, he loved spending time with family. In addition to his parents, Dean is preceded in death by his stepson, Steven Hodkinson; and half brother James W Jr who died in infancy. Dean is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Deborah Adams; son Nick (Bridget)) Johnson; daughter Lynn (Ronald) Kennedy; grandchildren Nicholas, Benjamin, Riley, Karlee, Chloe, Hayden, Xaiver; step-children Brian and Jessica Henry, Michelle Festi and Crystal Hodkinson; sisters Beverly (Rich) Fisher, Cheryl Reiger; half-sister Barbara Van de Zilver; best friend of over 35 years Daryn Ranta; and nieces and nephews. Dean was a very special man loved by all. “The Dream” lives on.
