Doris M. Horsley

Doris M. Horsley, age 75, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hanley and Vina (Cordle) Sayre, her loving husband of 31 years, Danny Horsley, siblings, Lorraine McFadden and John Sayre. Doris is survived by her daughters, Debbie (David) Funk, Denise (Ray) Pertuset, grandchildren, Max (Morgan Geroski) Funk, Alex Funk, bonus grandchildren, Monica, Brayden, Raelynn, her longtime companion, Denny Gordon, siblings, Raymond (Connie) Sayre, Dennis (Mary) Sayre, Linda Webb, sister-in-law, Debbie Sayre, and many nieces, nephews, coworkers and dear friends. She retired from Nationwide Children’s Hospital with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Christian Union. Doris enjoyed her lunches with coworkers, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. A visitation time will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 11-1 pm with a funeral service beginning at 1 pm with Pastor Owen Stotts officiating.
