Foster Matthew Moffo

Foster Matthew Moffo passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, at 2:55 PM, surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jan Moffo, sister Dolly Moffo, brother Joseph (Rose) Moffo, his daughter Carla Jay (Tracy Miller), his son Matthew Moffo, and his son Michael Moffo (Craig Chadwell) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Moffo, his sister Helen Moffo, his step-son Jon Ellis, and his parents Jerry and Margaret (Elish) Moffo.

Foster was a man of deep faith, devoted to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and his community. He found great purpose in volunteering at StoryPoint Assisted Living, where he brought comfort and connection to residents by serving Holy Communion. He was also honored to be a Knight of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher, a reflection of his unwavering commitment to his faith.

Beyond his spiritual devotion, Foster was a brilliant carpenter, finding joy in crafting with his hands. His talent and craftsmanship left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to see his work.

Foster was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. His wisdom, and unwavering support touched the lives of so many. He will be missed beyond measure, but his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City, Ohio. Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 3730 Broadway in Grove City, OH. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be directed to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
