She was born October 18, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio. Frances dedicated her life to taking care of others. She retired from Holy Family Church as the Director of Soup Kitchen and Pantry with 29 years of service. Her love of Christmas was unsurpassed.
In addition to her husband, Gilbert L. Carr Sr. she was preceded in death by her sister, Julia Jones; brothers, Bill and Dayton Jones; and grandson, James Lee Carr, son-in-law, Jim Carr.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Gerdine Harr, Anna Carr, and Mary (Chris) Ritchey; sons, Gilbert L. Jr (Rose) Carr and Thomas J. (Regina) Carr; grandsons, Mike Harr, Jason Harr, Joshua Jones, Clayton Riley, Jeffrey Carr, Gilbert Allen Carr, Thomas (Ryan) Carr, Nicholas A. (Jalyn Steenrod) Carr; granddaughters, Melissa Carr, Helen Wallin, Kaycee Ritchey; great-grandkids, Devon Harr, Samantha Harr, James Lee Carr Jr, Dustin Carr, Taylor (Alec) Fogle, Dallas Carr, Cody Carr, Anthony Riley, Charlie Wallin, Ezra Carr, Cohen Cash Carr; great-great-grandkids, Lucas Fogle and Denton Fogle; brother, Jack R. (Joy) Jones; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 1, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Cremation will follow accompanied with a private urn service at St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Canal Winchester Food Pantry.
