Gary Lee Hoobler, age 75, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Grove City. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Miriam (Fairbrass) Hoobler, brother, Douglas Hoobler. Gary is survived by brother, Richard (Charlene) Hoobler, son, John Hoobler, daughter, Amy (Kevin) Potts, stepson, Michael (Missy) Ruchel, stepdaughter, Heather (Paxton) McVoy, grandchildren, Christopher Hoobler, Hunter Potts, Ariana Hoobler, Kansas Hoobler, Isabelle Swigert, Martin Roberts, stepgrandchildren, Madison Ruchel, Michael Ruchel Jr., Taylor Ruchel, Beckett McVoy. Gary graduated from Salem High School and went on to work for Cassano’s pizza, and then he went to work as the Vice President of Operations for Taco Bell and finished his career as a franchisee for Taco Bell. In his spare time Gary enjoyed playing a round of golf, working on geneaology, enjoying a good cigar, watching the OSU Buckeye football team, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians play ball, but most of all he enjoyed his fantasy football with his grandsons. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 12-2 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd.
