James Henry Ryan Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Ryan Sr. and Marie T. Ryan; his brothers, Michael and Patrick Ryan; and his sister, Eileen Ryan.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Kathleen; his daughter, Eleanor (Robert) Riggins; his son, Andrew Ryan; sister-in-law, Diana Ryan, and his cherished granddog, Biscuit.

Jim earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He built a respected career as a Rubber Technologist, working with Chicago Rawhide, Zeon Chemicals, RDAbbott, and Halliburton. He was also a proud member of the American Chemical Society.

Outside of his professional life, Jim found joy in playing guitar, riding his bike through Scioto Grove Metro Park, and passionately cheering on his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles — always with an enthusiastic “Go Birds!”

Jim will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his steady work ethic, and the quiet humor he shared with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
