Born in the small village of Maraiyur, Mayiladuthurai in South India, her early years were marked by hardship. She grew up without many of the opportunities or comforts that most of us take for granted. At the age of 17, she married and began a lifelong journey of devotion to her family.
A loving wife and mother, she was the primary caregiver for her husband and sons, pouring her energy into their health, wellbeing, and happiness. Family meant everything to her, and she was the bond that held them together.
In her later years, she found joy in the company of her grandchildren. Her strong religious faith gave her strength and solace through life’s ups and downs. Those who knew her will remember her radiant and innocent smile, and her boundless energy in caring for her home and loved ones.
Her sudden and unexpected passing has left our family and friends in deep shock and sorrow. Yet in our grief, we take solace in knowing that she left this world peacefully, without suffering.
She will be profoundly missed by her husband, three sons, six grandchildren, and many friends whose lives she touched.
She will be cremated in Columbus, Ohio, USA on August 22, 2025, in accordance with Tamil Hindu traditions. Her ashes will be carried to India and immersed in the River Ganges by her family, fulfilling her spiritual wishes.
