

Age 68, of Grove City, passed away on March 7, 2025, at Mt. Carmel Grove City. She was born to the late Joseph and Claire (Stark) Beglen, and was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Beglen, her sister, Karen Beglen, uncles William "Bill" Beglen, Walter Beglen, John and William Wellington, and her aunt, Marion Polma.
Kathy is survived by her children, Larry (Courtney) Kitchen Jr. and Thomas Kitchen; her brother, Richard (Teri) Beglen; nieces, Danielle (Brandon) Colvin and Brittney Beglen; great-nephew, Hunter Colvin; and aunts, Catherine "Kay" Bennett and Margie Dorman. She also leaves behind many friends and loved ones who will cherish her memory.
A graduate of Grove City High School, Kathy went on to study at Southeast Career Center and later attended Columbus State Community College, where she studied Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Kathy was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and had created several murals. She loved gardening, quilting, bowling, horseback riding, and spending time outdoors, especially going camping. Kathy had a passion for Sci-Fi horror movies and was always ready to lend a hand with home improvement projects, including roofing her house, building a barn, and rebuilding engines.
Kathy worked at the Kroger Bakery and later retired from Honda, where she spent many years contributing to her community and building lasting relationships with her colleagues.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
