Kenneth "Jake" Lyday

In addition to his parents, Jake was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold and Robert Lyday; his mother and father-in-law, Betty and Harry Zuckerman; and his sister-in-law, Beverly Leake.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Carol Lyday; his son, William Kenneth Lyday; his brother, Glenn Lyday; his sister, Janet Snodgres; his sisters-in-law, Marlene Moore and Joetta Ramsey; and many extended family members and dear friends.

As a huge car enthusiast, Jake spent his life working on cars and was always tinkering with them. He had a deep appreciation for art and enjoyed drawing. Above all else, Jake loved his family. He was a devoted family man whose steady presence and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on February 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the same location, with interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, Ohio 43119.
