

Born on February 22, 1931, in Virginia, Linda was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Freeman Cook. She was raised in Virginia and later moved to West Columbus with her husband, Charles Ling, where they made their home and built a life together for many years.
Linda was a faithful member of her Faith Baptist church and cherished the time she spent with her family. She loved her grandchildren and held an especially soft spot for her great-grandchildren. Linda enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, shopping, dining out, and attending church gatherings with family and friends. Some of her favorite outings included dinners at Der Dutchman and Florentine.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles Ling, and her son, Kenneth Ling.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pam Ling; grandchildren, Jonathan (Susan) Ling, Sara (Shane) McClaugherty, Andrew (Barbara) Ling, and Rebekah (Tim) Sargent; and ten great-grandchildren: Laura Anne, Logan, and Autumn Ling; Tyson and Colton McClaugherty; Noah and Cooper Ling; and Sadie, Lucy, and Eliza Sargent. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Ruby Henson; nephews, Randy and Kevin Henson; and many dear friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 2848 Demorest Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon, with interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery West, 4399 Grove City Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
