Born on June 12, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cared deeply about those close to her. She loved summer weekends on the lake with her family and taking girls' trips with her daughters and daughter-in-law. These trips often took them to her favorite destination, Nashville, for live music, shopping, and many laughs over Amaretto sodas.
An avid reader and enthusiastic Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Linda found joy in spending time with those she loved most. On birthdays, close friends and family were treated to thoughtful cards, gifts, and her surprisingly lively rendition of “Happy Birthday to You.”
A proud breast cancer survivor who lived life with strength and care for those she loved, Linda retired from Chase Bank after more than 25 years of dedicated service in Private Client Services.
Linda was a devoted member of the congregation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and will be remembered for her faith, kindness, occasionally sassy wit, and love for her family. We will fondly remember celebrating the end of the Lenten sacrifice each year with her exceptional Easter dinners, which featured her own unique traditions.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James D. McAnany, and her mother, Mary Louise Hughes. She is survived by her children, James Jason (Sarah) McAnany, Blair (PJ) Famarin, and Jenna Fitch; her beloved grandsons, James and Liam McAnany, who brought her the greatest joy; her brothers, James (Rita) Hughes, Richard (Terry) Hughes, and Stephen Hughes; as well as many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and extended family members.
Services will take place on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Visitation will take place from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 am.
