Loraina M. Gillenwater

Loraina M. Gillenwater, age 92 of Grove City passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023. Loraina was born in Morehead, KY to the late Thomas Jackson and Lillie Lee ( Nickell ) Mabry. She was a longtime member and pastor’s wife of the Apostolic Church of Christ and most recently a member of Pathway to Power Church. Loraina loved to sing at church and was an avid gardener and loved tending to her flowers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Thomas Gillenwater; and siblings Lawrence E. Mabry , Howard O. Mabry and Florence Elam-Hicks. Loraina is survived by her brother Omer (Guyan) Mabry of Morehead KY; numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime companion Wesley Marcum. Loraina’s family will receive friends 11-1 PM Wednesday, March 22 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (HOOVER RD at KINGSTON AVE) where her funeral service will follow at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery.
