

Marsha Ann Holmes, age 85, of Grove City, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Marsha was born on May 16, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Joseph and Helen (Hunter) Baumbusch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Baumbusch, and her brother, Joseph Baumbusch. Marsha is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ronald “Ron” Holmes, her brother, Charlie (Kathy) Baumbusch, and her sister-in-law, Sue Baumbusch.
Marsha grew up in German Village and attended St. Mary School. Her family moved from German Village to Grove City in 1956. She graduated from Grove City High School in 1959 and eventually became a life-long resident of Grove City. She retired from Franklin County Children Services after 40 years of dedicated service as an administrative assistant. She was known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, organizational skills and the relationships she built over the years. She loved reading, shopping, dining out, playing euchre, watching Buckeye football and NBA games, vacationing in Myrtle Beach for over 30 years, and treasured her time spent with family and friends.
Marsha is survived by her two daughters, Julie (Mark) Becker and Karen (Tom) Norris; three grandchildren, Katie (John) McGinnis, Betsy (Ryan Spezialetti) Trigg, and Caleb (Maleah) Trigg; and five great grandchildren, Cooper, Weston, Birdie, Georgie, and Rocky.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Thursday, July 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pinnacle Golf Club, 1500 Pinnacle Club Drive, Grove City, OH 43123. All are invited to come together to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
Marsha will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
