Mary Ann Winfield, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Hoover Haus. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Anna (Maskalnus) Winfield, brother-in-law, David Bartholic. Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Mike (Arlene) Winfield, sister, Margaret Bartholic, several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mary Ann’s family moved to Grove City in 1947 and she lived in the same house. Her first job teaching was with Creole Oil in Venezuela for 2 years before returning to the United States. She was a Teacher and Principal for Southwestern City Schools for over 35 years. Mary Ann was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church since its inception. She enjoyed painting, sketching, drawing, toll painting, and would make pieces of art with buckeyes. She was recognized by the Governor for her art at the Ohio State Fair and received many ribbons for her art. A private family inurnment will take place at Grove City Cemetery.
