Melvin L. “Mel” Spencer, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, with his loving wife by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin “Bud” and Helen Spencer. Mel is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Ginger Spencer; stepdaughter, Erin (Chris) Schuler; stepson, Richard (Andrea) Smith; grandchildren: Nicholas and Sydney Schuler; Kymberlie and Ryann Smith; great grandchildren: Elias Paige and Matilda Smiley; brother, Jack (Sandy) Spencer; sister, Cinda (Sam) George. Mel was also a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Mel was a computer programmer for 25 years with Reynolds & Reynolds. After retiring, Mel began his second career as an entrepreneur owning and operating Bathcrest of Greater Columbus and TubCutter! He was very proud of his accomplishments with those companies having them run as family businesses. Mel was a member of the Masons, and he enjoyed woodworking and reading historical novels in his spare time. Mel’s request was for no service. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY.
