Mike was born on February 26, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio to James and Sally (Crissinger) Davis. He was a 2003 graduate of Westland High School, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry in 2010 from Ohio Christian University. Mike spent his career as a Special Education Aide at Worthington Kilbourne High School. He proudly supported his students in their education and growth in daily living skills.
Mike was a loving husband, father, and son. He was kind, strong, and funny. He gave amazing hugs and was an incredibly thoughtful gift giver. He loved spending time with his family; being together made family movie or video game night at home just as special as family vacations to the Gulf of Mexico, Myrtle Beach, and the Smoky Mountains. He created many wonderful family traditions that we will carry on in his honor.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dwight and Bette (Waters) Davis; grandfather, George Crissinger; aunt, Susan (Crissinger) Steel; uncle, Steven Crissinger; and mother-in-law, Dayle (McCann) Alton.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Jennifer (Alton) Davis; daughter, Norah Davis; his parents, James and Sally Davis; father-in-law, Stephen Alton; sister-in-law, Rachael (David) Rinehart; nephew, Oliver Rinehart; and many other relatives and friends.
