Nancy Ann Walters

Nancy Ann Walters, age 77, of Grove City OH passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Nancy was born on December 6, 1947 in Columbus OH to the late George B. and Julie E. (Murane) Friend. She was a graduate of West High School and took several college courses at Columbus Community College. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Walters of 56 years. Daughters Tracey (Ned) Kelly of West End, NC; Nicole (Robert) Evans of Grove City OH and son Clinton Walters of Wake Forest NC. Survived by her loving sister Patti Salyer, her grandchildren that she treasured Leah (Brandon), Jacob, Brandon (Alexia), Zachary, and Megan; Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Constance Sheppard, brothers Ronald Friend, Michael Friend, and James Friend. Nancy retired from White Castle System Inc. after 42 years of service performing several roles with the company and acquiring several certifications. Nancy enjoyed gambling, gardening, playing cards, traveling, riding the Harley with Ken, and spending time with her family. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City where funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
