

Ralph Lawrence Gross, Jr., born on December 25, 1929, bid farewell to this world on March 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy woven with valor, passion, and unwavering love. A proud veteran, Ralph served his country with honor during the Korean War, demonstrating courage and dedication in the face of adversity.
In 2009, Ralph found his lifelong companion in Phyllis Gross, sharing a bond that epitomized love, commitment, and devotion. Their union was a testament to the enduring power of love, enriching each other's lives with joy and companionship.
Ralph’s zest for life extended beyond his military service and marriage. An avid motorcycle enthusiast and NASCAR aficionado, he found exhilaration in the roar of engines and the thrill of the open road. His passion for these pursuits ignited a spark in those around him, fostering camaraderie and shared experiences.
Beyond his personal interests, Ralph was deeply involved in his community, dedicating his time and efforts to various organizations. As a member of the Moose Lodge, the VFW Post, and American Legion Post 532, Ralph demonstrated his commitment to serving others and fostering a sense of unity among veterans and fellow citizens. He was a proud member of the American Legion Riders, finding solace and camaraderie among fellow riders who shared his passion for motorcycles and patriotism.
Ralph will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him, his warm smile and generous spirit leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Though he may have departed this world, his legacy of love, courage, and community service will continue to inspire and uplift those who follow in his footsteps. In the embrace of cherished memories, Ralph’s spirit will live on, forever cherished by those who loved him dearly, just as much as he loved his beloved wife, Phyllis.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City. Private inurnment will be held later at Dayton National Cemetery.
