It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Reva Moore Greer, affectionately known as “Nanny" or "Nan", on March 10, 2026. At 84 years old, Reva remained a vibrant, active, and essential in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy defined by a boundless devotion to the family she spent her life nurturing.
Though Reva held various roles in the workforce throughout her life, her true "life’s work" was her family, most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and who returned that love in kind. She was the steady light of their lives, always a shoulder to cry on, and especially ensured they knew they were loved. To Nanny, love was an action, usually expressed through a full plate, an open door, and a home that served as the headquarters for every family visit and holiday milestone.
Born June 30, 1941, Reva embraced life’s simple pleasures and found joy in the world around her. She frequently visited her local gym and loved to search for treasures at local estate sales. She loved her walks through Gantz Park, trips to Port Clinton and the river, and the peaceful moments spent at home with her family and beloved dog, Millie.
She was a woman of delightful quirks: she kept her Christmas clock chiming year-round, insisted on wearing her dog-chewed Crocs for their perfect comfort, and never turned down a good margarita.
Reva is now reunited in heaven with Richard, her husband of more than 60 years and the love of her life, as well as her grandson, Markie.
She is survived by the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild who was the center of her world and will forever carry her love with them. In her memory, the family asks that you keep them in your prayers and, in true Nanny fashion, raise a strong margarita in her honor.
In accordance with Reva’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements by Schoedinger Grove City.
