Richard L. “Dick” Ankrum, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Brookdale Pinnacle. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Ankrum and Gertrude Ankrum Slaughter, his loving wife of 52 years, Donna Ankrum, siblings, Florence Rittenhouse, Joann Jose, Millie Barcley. He is survived by his children, Vickie (Jeffrey) Ball, Richard A. Ankrum, Randy (Louise) Ankrum, Susan Ankrum, grandchildren, Ashlee (Bob) Belford, Kevin (Ciera) Ball, Anthony Ankrum, Chelsie (Josh) Mollohan, Sara Ankrum, Adam Ankrum, Richard Gleason, James Pierce, Donna Sheets, several great grandchildren, siblings, Daniel Ankrum, Robbin (Kim) Slaughter, Shirley Ball, along with a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Dick retired after 50 years of service with IBEW Local 683. He enjoyed racing horses at Scioto Downs, and restoring cars and he was most proud of his 1957 red Chevy. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 6-8 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Road at Kingston Ave.)
