Robin Renee Wotring

Robin Renee Wotring, age 69, passed away on August 3, 2026. Born September 7, 1956, Robin was a beloved and cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her—marked by a gentle spirit, a devoted heart, and a steady, faithful kindness that was felt in both quiet moments and daily life.

Robin dedicated 28 years of service to the Small Business Administration, offering consistent commitment and care throughout her career. She was a 1974 graduate of Grove City High School and a cheerleader during her years in school.

Robin was married for 48 years to Mike Wotring. They met in church more than 50 years ago, a beginning that reflected the faith that remained central to her life. Robin was preceded in death by her father, Robert Barnett. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mike Wotring; son, Matthew (Brandie) Wotring; Sarah (Bill) Jolley; grandchildren, Lainey Wotring, Sofie Wotring, Indie Jolley, Ace Jolley; sisters, Tammy (Fred) Cline, Teresa (Mike) Maynard; niece, Jenn Maynard; nephews, Michael Maynard, Jacob Maynard, Joshua Maynard, Caleb (Ashley) Maynard; mother, Phyllis McCleese-Wright; and several great nieces and great nephews.

A true lover of home and family, Robin found joy in thrifting and repurposing items discovered at thrift and antique stores, traveling to Kentucky, Tennessee, Myrtle Beach, and Indiana in search of special finds. She delighted in decorating her home with those treasures and enjoyed collecting owls, snowmen, and milk glass. Robin also loved doing crafts with her grandchildren, and as a loving grandma, she made it a priority to attend the many events they were involved with. She enjoyed reading—especially historical fiction—and each evening she could often be found reading her Bible before bed in her rocking chair. In her own words and in the way she lived, Robin embraced the simple truth of the motto she enjoyed: “There’s no place like home.”

Robin served her church community with devotion, teaching Sunday school at Brown Road Community Church and driving a school bus for a few years at the Christian School. She also carried a heartfelt desire to share Jesus, especially with children—an enduring part of the legacy she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, OH 43123, on August 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at the same location on August 10, 2026, at 1 pm with Pastor Paul Burgett, officiating
