Roger W. Willis Jr.

Roger William Willis, Jr., 81, of Grove City, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was born March 28, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Roger, Sr. and Ruby Willis. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran. Roger was retired from Ohio Bell and a former Police officer in Darbydale, Ohio. He loved technology, space, and working on cars. He also enjoyed taking his daughters to their sporting events and filming their games. He was an avid county and bluegrass music fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeffrey, David, Philip, Dennis, and Thomas Willis; and sisters, Janet Murphy and Judy Tootle. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Tami; children, William (Bobbie) Willis, Donna (Michael) Caldwell, Chelsie Willis, and Kendra (Kyle) McLaughlin; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Kathy) Willis and Greg Willis; sisters, Paula (Ray) Woodward, Susan (Harry) Bowman, Mary (Dave) Senters, Laura Balmer, and Teresa Van Bibber; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2023 at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Grove City.
