Ronald H. Kuszmaul

Ronald H. Kuszmaul, age 81, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. Ron was born on November 21, 1944, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Harold and Rutheda Kuszmaul. He grew up in Warren and graduated from Warren G. Harding High School. Shortly after high school, Ron worked for Ford before being drafted into the United States Army, where he proudly served in Korea. Following his military service, Ron began a 30-year career with Delphi Packard.

He met the love of his life, Deborah Sue Fisher. The two were married on December 2, 1976, and built a loving life together centered around faith and family. Together they raised two children, Korri and Andrew.

Ron deeply loved his family and cherished the many memories they created together. Summer trips to Kansas and Branson, Missouri became a treasured tradition, and he and Debbie also enjoyed visiting Amish Country together. Ron was an avid Ohio State football fan and loved spending time outdoors.

One of Ron’s greatest joys was supporting his granddaughter, Bailee. He proudly attended her jiu jitsu competitions and loved cheering her on in all she did.

A devoted man of faith, Ron was active in the Church of the Nazarene throughout his life. He faithfully served at Warren First Church of the Nazarene, where he served on the church board and as finance chairman. Most recently, he attended The Naz Church in Grove City.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Korri Ann French; his parents, Harold and Rutheda Kuszmaul; his sister, Donna Oblinger; his sister-in-law, Ginger Selley; a niece and nephew; and his in-laws, L.J. and Esther Fisher.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Debbie Kuszmaul; his son, Andrew Kuszmaul; his son-in-law, Ron French; his cherished granddaughter, Bailee French; his beloved dog, Maggie; his sister, Barbara (Sonny) Oblinger; his sister-in-law, Sherrie (Verle) Humphrey; his brother-in-law, Vic (Janelle) Fisher; and his nieces, Heather Oblinger, Ronda Swanson, Cindy Oblinger, and Janet Oblinger.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery West, 4501 Grove City Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
