Seth Ryan Sias

Seth Ryan Sias, 31, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of the city that he loved, Grove City, Ohio. He cherished his community and filled many roles throughout his life such as devoted father, brother, uncle, cousin, son, life-partner, friend and realtor. He was a proud 2013 graduate of Grove City High School.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Seth loved the outdoors and was happiest when he was outside, moving, exploring, and embracing life. Known as the self-appointed “cruise director” of his world, he brought energy and enthusiasm wherever he went.

Family was at the center of everything he did. A big dreamer with an even bigger heart, he enjoyed talking about the future and imagining new possibilities. He never met a stranger; outspoken, warm, and always ready with a hug, he made everyone feel welcome. His sense of humor was infectious. He was silly, spontaneous, known to dance without warning, and often burst into song just to make others laugh.

A passionate football fan, he loved cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State Buckeyes. His faith was also an important part of his life and he lived it through his actions. He was constantly giving, serving, and putting others first. He had a truly generous spirit. Whether donating Christmas trees, sending bottled water to East Palestine, Ohio, or providing food to those in need, he was always finding ways to help.

Seth will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, his boundless energy, and the love he shared so freely. He touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel; maternal grandmother, Shirley Robinson; paternal grandparents, David and Cathy Sias; mentor, who he cared so deeply for, Donnie Payne.

Survived by the little loves of his life, his children, Kingston, Bow, Lizzy, and Sophie; significant other, April Stanley; mother to his sons, Aubrey Fath; mother, Ronda (John) Hyder; step-mother, Mieko Sias; siblings, Anthony (Angie) Swint, Alexis Hyder, Brayden Hyder, Jennifer Murphy, Sara Sias, Sam (Kendra) Sias, Makia Spears, Amanda (Griffin) Degener, and Ariane Sias; nieces, Adriana and Aria; nephews, Aidan and Parker; beloved dog, Copper; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City. A Celebration of Seth’s life will be held there the next day, Monday, December 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside committal to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Waterloo Cemetery, Pancoastburg, Ohio.
