Born on January 20, 1963, in Circleville, Ohio, Sherry was the daughter of the late Carl and Thelma Strous. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lindsay Lendhurst of Charleston, South Carolina; her brother Kevin (Kathy) Strous of Gahanna, Ohio; as well as cousins and extended family members.
A dedicated and respected nurse, Sherry worked at Children’s Hospital for nearly 20 years, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and skill.
Her love for the Pittsburgh Steelers was equally unwavering, and she brought passion and joy to every game day. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her cherished cats, Chloe and Oliver.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.
