Susan Ivy lee Humphrey
May 23, 1942 – May 6, 2022

Susan Ivy Lee Humphrey age 79 of Columbus, passed away Friday May 6, 2022 surrounded by her family. Susan was born in Columbus to the late Marshall I. and Dora (née Leigh) Collins and graduated from West High School. Susan was vivacious and possessed a great sense of humor; she was the ultimate social butterfly. She enjoyed watching her husband race stock cars and loved singing in her church choir. Susan was a foodie who delighted in going out to eat and was particularly fond of Ding Ho’s. She was very patriotic with a great love for her country and she loved Jesus even more. Time with family was also very important to Susie and her true pride and joy were her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Susie is preceded in death by her daughter Christina Stephens, brothers Frederick Goldsberry and Jimmy and John Collins. Susan is survived by her husband of 50 years, Terry Lee Humphrey; Children Gretchen (Paul) Gunderson, Jerry (Stephanie) Buck, Terry L. Humphrey, Jr., Valerie (Eric Liston) Buck, Melissa Humphrey, and Joshua (Sandra Wolfe) Humphrey. She is also survived by her life-long friend Judy Lathem. She was “MaMa” to her 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 5-8 PM Wednesday, May 11 at Canaan Land Church 2777 Gantz Rd Grove City where her funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday. Pastor Shawn Beauchamp officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice
