

Victoria “Vicky” Baer, age 83, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on September 9, 2026. Born April 26, 1943, Vicky will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her. She battled stage 4 breast cancer valiantly for 7 years.
For 67 years, Vicky shared a devoted marriage with Raymond “Ray” Baer. She is survived by her husband, Raymond “Ray” Baer; her daughters, Karen (Jeffrey) Bartoe, Leanne (Theodore “Ted”) Wolfinger, and Tracy (Michael) Ashcraft-Sines; her grandchildren, Jacob (Sara) Bartoe, Ashley (Christopher) McCoy, Amanda (Andrew) Iski, Michael (Kelsey) Wolfinger, James “JT” (Kate) Wolfinger, Brittany (Chris) Davis, Brandon Ashcraft, Alex Sines, and Ryan (Jessica) Sines; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren and her beloved niece Jody Green. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Ruth (Gloyd) Green, and her brother, Kenny and sister-in-law Minnie Green.
Vicky enjoyed gardening where she was a member of the Darby Valley Garden Club for several years. She loved traveling out west with friends and family and often attended the PBR events and National Finals in Las Vegas. Traveling to Florida often was one of her happy places.
Above all, Vicky loved her family and truly enjoyed spending time with them. Her legacy lives on in the closeness she nurtured, the laughter she brought and the steady, thoughtful ways she showed her care.
The family would like to thank Bella Care Hospice for the care they took of Vicky. There is a special place in our hearts for Aumend and Dee Dee.
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Grove City 3363 McDowell Rd. Grove City, OH 43123 on Oct 2, 2026 from 4-7pm
