Willie Elisha Sheffield

Willie Elisha Sheffield, age 80, born February 22, 1935, died April 19, 2015. Mr. Sheffield was a resident of Grove Hill, AL where he was a member of Magnolia Assembly of God. Mr. Sheffield was a well known figure in downtown Grove Hill for many years as the owner and barber of Kinman Barbershop. A very family oriented man, he loved his family dearly and did anything and everything he could for them. Mr. Sheffield enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, tending to his cows and watching his favorite sport, football. He was a Veteran having served in the Air Force. An all around good man, Mr. Sheffield will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pauline K. Sheffield of Grove Hill, AL; daughter, Susan Marie Sibert of Grove Hill, AL; brothers, Marvin A. Sheffield, Wayne Sheffield, Milton Estes Sheffield, William David “W. D.” Sheffield and Billy Sheffield; sisters, Eula Bell Neal, Mary Maglene Jordan and Marie Ott; grandchildren, Darren Adam Henson and Abbey Marie Etheridge; great-grandchildren, Isobelle Henson, Austin Etheridge and Alexis Etheridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Daffin Sheffield and Katie Lou Smith Sheffield and siblings, Frazier D. Sheffield, Martha Ann Pope, Clare Lee Barlow and Lillis Luker Etheredge.

Services will be Friday, April 24, 2015 at Lathan Funeral Home, Grove Hill. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. with the Visitation for two hours prior to the service.
