James was born June 7, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to Homer H. Willliams, Sr. and Bertha Dorsey Williams. He was a lifelong area resident and retired after 42 years of service as Superintendant of the tool room at Texaco. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Drew Williams.
Survivors include his wife Helen Williams of Port Acres, TX; daughter, Janna McCallum of Port Acres, TX; son, Gary James Williams and wife, Karen of Lake Stevens, WA; brother, Homer H. "Bud" Williams, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Kelti Amanda McCallum, Drew Williams, Mason Williams and Ian Williams.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, with Reverend Homer H. Williams, Jr. officiating.
