John Lee Haviland

Joe was born March 31, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to Stephen W. Haviland and Gracie Hester Haviland. He was a lifelong area resident and member of First Christian Church of Port Arthur. He was employed by Patriot Security as a security guard.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne Haviland of Groves, TX; two sons, Steve Haviland and Kyle Haviland both of Wichita Falls, TX; two sisters, Terry McDougle and husband, Lon of Spring, TX and Stephanie Stephens and husband, Robert of Groves, TX; one brother, Sam Haviland and wife, Barbara of Groves, TX; two grandchildren, Trinity Rene Haviland and Cameron William Haviland.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Cliff Rucker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
