Johnny Ray Hatch of Port Arthur, Texas, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. Born in Pineville, Louisiana and was employed at Port Arthur ISD for 26 years. He served as a deacon at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 35 years, Barbara Ann Willis-Hatch, daughter, Sharlene Regina Hatch, mother, Irene Hatch, sister, Dana Hatch-Banks (Albert), brothers, Louis Hatch III (Detra), Johnny M. Hatch (Georgia). Father-in-law, Homer Willis, Sr., brothers- in-law, Homer Willis Jr. and John A. Willis (Pamela), three nephews, John A. Willis Jr., JaMall A. Willis, and Louis Hatch IV and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 501 West Thomas Blvd. Port Arthur, TX. Viewing is from 9 a.m. until service time. Pastor Kurt Washington will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.
