Lola Ozete Raines

Lola lovingly called “Mama Raines” by family and friends, lived a full, happy life for many years in Port Arthur, Texas and then moved to Naples, Florida and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Preceding her in death was her husband, James M. Raines, M. D., her daughters, Phyllis Reagan Holstead and JoAnn Raines Clay, her son, Philip Thomas “Tommy” Reagan, granddaughter, Lisa Holstead Dorbandt, brothers, Bill Ritch and Randy Ritch, son-in-law, Homer R. Newman, M. D., and grandson, Ronald Ritch Newman.

Surviving her are daughters, Linda Reagan Newman and Edna Raines Ragland and son James “Jimmy” M. Raines, sister, Marie Duncan as well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The visitation/viewing will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at ClaytonThompson Funeral Home, 5200 West Parkway, Groves, Texas, 77619. Brother Miller of the First Baptist Church of Groves will officiate the funeral service at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with Entombment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
