Marguerite G Jackson

Marguerite was born September 16, 1923 in Starks, Louisiana to Amarjan M. Granger and Altha Johnson Granger. She was a 65 year area resident and retired from Park Place Hospital as a licensed vocational nurse after 15 years of service. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Nederland.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Dr. Jason Burden officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Jackson.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Jackson and wife, Darlene of Nederland, TX; Greg Jackson and wife, Lynn of Port Arthur, TX; one brother, Elwood "Frank" Granger and wife, Wanda of Starks, LA; four grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, David Jackson, Joshua Kibbe, Virginia Wendt and husband, Jason; two great-grandchildren, Justin Wendt, and Jorden Wendt.
